I am in the process of booking our Feb trip to SOG. When I go to make the reservation, I get two different options for rooms. One is the standard 2 queen with sleeper sofa, the other is 1 queen with daybed. Does anyone know what this daybed looks like? Is it big enough and comfortable enough for a 5 year old? also, where are these rooms located? I don't think I have ever seen one of these.

I thought all the rooms had two queen beds and a daybed in all the rooms? anyone.......

That's what i thought also, but when I booked online yesterday, there was the option of 1 q w/ day bed. I booked it. I guess I may be the first one to actually see it!

We stayed in the new section at SOG in April 2006. We had the fold out couch in our room and DS it was comfortable but he never actually folded it out, just slept on the couch.

That's what I had (the picture above) in December. I wonder if the old rooms have the day beds? If so, get the sleeper-sofa room, those are way bigger. (But further from the pools.)

I just looked it up onthe sog reservation site, I know at one time they were going to try out some rooms with king beds and a daybed, maybe they are doing queen size instead?!

Well, hopefully they will be comfortable because that is what my DD5 will be sleeping on. She has a daybed now at her nana's which she loves, so I thought this would be familiar for her. I hope they are in the new section and are the same size as the other rooms.

All the rooms are the same size, so with just one queen bed, your room should be even larger looking!:cool1:
