Anyone been to POR recently-8/04

Has anyone been to POR recently? HOw are the renovations
coming? We are going for Halloween, and I'm a little
nervous about renovations and thinking of changing
to Caribbean BEach.

We were there for three nights a week ago, and found the resort to be as nice as always. We stayed at our favorite place - Magnolia Terrace - and found the stay quite enjoyable. Wish I was there now .........

We just returned yesterday from POR Riverside and were slightly disappointed in our room. There were a few stains on the carpet. The bedspreads had stains on the inside of the them. The bathroom door hinges were very rusted, as well as the sink stoppers and the water sprinkler that is used in case of fire. Obviously our room had not been renovated, but for the price we got, I guess we beggars can't be choosers!
