Anyone been to Nine Dragons recently??

I know they were closed for a while for renovations and have re-opened with a new menu. Has anyone tried it recently??

I had the same question a few days ago and got some very pleasant responses. Everyone that responded had great things to say and I now can't wait to be there!!

I thought part of the refurb was to put in a display kitchen. Does anyone know what it is like? Is it just an open view to the kitchen or something more dramatic then that?

Loved it. DH, me and another couple went in early October. We had wonderful service and excellent food. The taro shrimp lollipops, the generals chicken over spinach noodles, the noodle sampler and the soups were all big hits!! Go and enjoy!!

Ate there on Saturday night. Menu seemed pretty familiar, DH had a stomach bug so he just had the won ton soup. I had Kung Pao chicken, both girls had sesame chicken. Portions seemed the same as last time, decent sized and a scoop of rice. DH had a few bites off of each. They now have "specials" general Tsos chicken, S&S chicken, served with rice, maybe soup and egg roll, they come in weird assymetrical bowls. $70 with tip for three entrees, a soup and four drinks but tasty.

We were just there Saturday night too and we enjoyed it. Two of us had the Honey Sesame Chicken. Very moist and tender. DD had the General Tso Chicken and she really enjoyed that and the spinach noodles. DH had the steak and shrimp. He said it was good. The hot and sour soup was a bit too peppery for me but it was good. The veggie fried rice was good.

The desserts were a bit weird. Three people ended up with the strawberry red bean ice cream. They didn't like the other stuff they had. The ginger ice cream was alright.

I would go back in a heartbeat. Dessert is not a deal breaker for me.
