NASCAR Cafe is great fun and should be ideal for kids. They show race highlights and have real race cars of famous drivers hanging from the ceiling. Every 20 minutes or so you hear the call "Gentlemen, start your engines" and the place fills with the roar of engines at starting time.
The food's pretty good too with an emphasis on country cooking. The restaurant's upstairs and if it's a nice night, try for a table on the balcony that looks across the canal to the Hard Rock. The menu's the same all day.
Salads and appetizers are $4 to $9, entrees $10 to $20, sandwiches $8 or $9, and desserts $5 to $7. Side dishes with entrees are a la carte and cost $2. The sweet poato souffle is awesome.
Downstairs there's a bar and a NASCAR store that has a $1,000 lambskin jacket that I covet.
