We are going to Montreal and Mont Tremblant for Easter and really don't have anything planned except the hotels.. Any advice or palces we should see? We have 3 kids 1, 3, & 5 and thought they would like to see the differant culture. I did read about the botanical gardens and that soounds good. Anything that we should not miss? Also we will be there 8 days. Too Long?

thanks

We went last summer. It was only two days, but we went to the Olympic Park and saw an Expos game and the Biodome. There is also a Six Flags right there in Montreal, La Ronde.

Hello,

You could visit the Biodome, the insectarium, the botanical gardens or go up in the olympic stadium tower.

Make sure you visit the old Montreal and old Port, very nice.

You could also visit the Cosmodome in Laval (North shore of Montreal, on your way to Mont-Tremblant.

Unfortunately, at this time of year, La Ronde (part of the six-flags family) is closed. You could try to get tickets for a Canadiens game at the Bell Center...if they make the playoffs. The Expos start their season on april 22nd.

Lots of things to do....I'm sure you'll have a great time here.

We went a couple of years ago for a long weekend. We didn't do much- but our hotel was FABULOUS! Stayed at the Delta Centreville. I highly recommend it!

Well thanks for the replies. We will definately do the boatanical gardens and the insectarium. We will be staying at Delta Montreal (gotta love priceline $37.00 per nite 2 rooms) We also have tickets to see Bruce Springsteen so that should be fun as I've never seen him in another country.

Keep the ideas coming!

You might try asking over on the DIS Canadian board. You'll probably get lots of replies there.

It's been too long since I've been to Montreal to give you any concrete answers, but I wanted to second the idea of visiting Old Montreal. Be sure to take your appetite with you. Lots of great eating in that city!
