Anyone been to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party?

Hello - we are planning a trip to WDW the week before Thanksgiving. We did Mickey's NSSHalloween party the year before last. I am trying to decide if we should do the Christmas party. Any feedback would be great. We have two boys age 9 and 7 at time of travel and a two year old little girl.

Absolutely love it. Been 4 times and going again next year!

Wish I could do it every year but we alternate each year between MNSSHP and MVMCP.

My girls have been going to them since ages 1 and 4 and they look forward to it.

LOVE the parade, fireworks, shows, snow on Main Street, the free souvenir photo etc...

LOVE IT.

I can only add that I have heard it's amazing and worth every penny. We have never been and are definitely going this year

went last Dec. AMAZING...... we really didn't have to many problems with the crowds, but then we were there the first week in Dec. It's worth it, just to see the christmas wishes

I've gone twice (2003 and 2005). I've loved it both times. 2003 was a bit cold - heavy sweatshirts and light gloves, but 2005 the weather was great. Both times, I was there the 1st week of December, and the crowds were light. We liked the cocco and cookies, the Christmas Wishes, and just the overall "Christmas" atmosphere. But I love the Christmas season.

I highly recommend it, but you'd want to take it easy before the party so everyone's not too tired to enjoy. There always seem to be a lot of overtired kids around and no one in those families has a good time.

This year we're giving Halloween a try.

We went twice in 2003 and twice in 2005. We love it. It's well worth the money. I like it best for the night that we arrive, which is usually on a Sunday. The crowds are low and it's just beautiful. There is nothing more magical than strolling up Main Street hand in hand as it snows. Maggie

we did this 2 years ago. i felt it was the biggest waste of money. the park was extremely overcrowded. you were supposed to need a wrist band to rise the rides. we all had on sweatshirts, so you were unable to see the bands. not once were any of us (party of 12) asked to show bands. we only got on 2 rides the entire night. we would never do this agian.

I've never been done this but plan on going Dec. 5th and can't wait!! Crowd levels will depend on the day you are there. If it's a Friday, then yes it will be more crowded. I've read on numerous other boards that Tuesdays are a good day to go. Just remember, everyone's opinion on crowd levels will vary. I've read trip reports from 2 different people that had been to MVMCP on the same night and one said it was crowded and the other didn't.

Expierence it once and make your own opinion.
