Anyone been to Marriotts Cypress Harbour?

I've just booked a week in this resort in May but a few of the reviews I've read say that some buildings have had rooms refurbished.

Has anyone stayed here or know which rooms to ask for at check in??

Hi Graeme

we stayed there last may and LOVED it.Very pretty resort with beautiful hanging baskets here there and everywhere.Wasn,t too mad on the pools,they are nice but l've seen nicer.A week before we went l faxed the place directly myself and very nicely requested a refurbished 'villa' and we got one.It was great to have the space,the washer/dryer and maid service everyday and also a free newspaper delivered to your door Mon tru fri!!.I can't see you having any problems with MCH.Oh forgot to say the location is great 15 mins to the theme park gates.Couldn't ask for more eh

The pools are being refurbished now. Due to finish next week. Good idea about pre-contacting them.

Hi Graeme,

We stayed here for three weeks from 16th Dec to 5th Jan 07 in a refurbished appartment and found it absolutely wonderful, no complaints whatsoever.

As Brenda says the loction is ideal for access to all the parks - you can see the Seaworld tower from the resort. There are many activities and events going on every day but no pressure to join in if you don't want to.

Take a look at Trip Advisor as many people have posted photographs which truly reflect the resort.

As we left further refurbishment was just begining so I am sure it must be almost finished by now.

I am so jealous of you going to Cypress Harbour, this resort really added enourmously to the enjoyment of our holiday- I admit to shedding a tear on departure!

We've stayed in the Grande Vista over the other side of I Drive four or five times and love it, but fancied a change. I've looked on Tripadvisor and the photos do look good!
