Anyone been to Hollywood and Vine lately

We went there last week and liked it. Big variety and desserts were very good. The time before that was two years ago, and we did not like it. Glad we gave it another chance. I don't think it will be one of our favorites, but I would not hesitate to return.

I'm not a fan of H&V we were there in Jan 2007 and we won't return. Was the food horible, not really it just was not fantastic. We did if for the Fantasmic seating which I didn't care for either (please don't throw things) I just love DL Fantasmic so much better.

There are places we like so much better so we go back to those or choose new places to try.

We ate at H&V 2 weeks ago. The food was good. We decided to go back to WDW in March and made ADRs again for H&V (last time because we did the Fantasmic package) because our baby had a lot of choices there. The atmosphere was okay, but our server was by far the worst server we had our entire trip! I think her name was Mary Anne or something.

When we were there, H&V served breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Like a previous poster stated, the first two meals are character meals.

We also ate at 50's this trip. The quality and atmosphere were both disappointing from a previous trip. We won't be visiting there again on our next trip.

Someone said earlier on this thread that it's not open for breakfast and lunch -- NOT TRUE!!!!!! They do a character breakfast there (Playhouse Disney) which is the one character breakfast we HAD to do (ds(3) is a HUGE PD fan).

But in answer to your question, this is a pretty good buffet in my 2 times there (see Faldred's response -- he's my dh). Wouldn't necessarily recommend it but wouldn't discourage others from going there either.
