I know at DW babies can ride anything without a height requirement & I've done the baby swap there before. However, I can't seem to figure out how it works at Universal. Does anyone know if a baby that can't walk can go on the rides without height requirements? I seem to keep reading different info and there is nothing on their website about it. Also, anyone know how the baby swap works at Universal? Do you get a ticket like at DW or do you all wait in line & then swap? Thanks for your help!!

We took DS who was maybe 5.5 months old to WDW and Universal. Universal has different rules-no lap babies on a lot of rides. Obviously for safety reasons...I think the website explains which ones and there is a Universal section of the DISboards which I found very helpful as well.

We took DS when he was 11 months old to both. At Universal I know for sure on Cat in the Hat they told us he had to be able to walk in order to ride. I am thinking he went on the carousel though with no issues. Can't think of anything else we took him on. Never was really clear on what he could and couldn't ride there.

Never done there babyswap but seen others at that time (4 years ago) and they all waited in line then went into a little room to wait and then swapped out.
