If you haven't eaten at CRT before, then I say go for it, to say "been there, done that." We've had bf, lunch, and dinner there twice each. Why? I kept thinking the experience would get better if I tried different times of the day, different seasons, some trips we went with people who had never been.
My experience there has only gotten more negative.
The food is only so-so. Not a very good variety. The princesses (for lunch and dinner only) are rushed, don't talk with the kids, simply come up to the table, say "can I sign your book" and pretty much leave. Consistently CRT has had the worst character interaction for us. My 6 year old was upset that they wouldn't interact with her, and that was heartbreaking. And I just mean talking to the kids while they are signing the autographs or taking the picture. They barely pose long enough for one photo, good luck trying to get a couple or get kids separate. My dd wanted a picture with Belle without her brother, so I said we'll get brother in the next pic. Belle actually said "No, how about all together" and stood behind my son's high chair so my dd had to get up to go stand my Belle if she wanted in the picture.
Cinderella - you meet her before dinner, stand in line, get pictures and autographs. You are rushed through pretty quickly. The dinner has the "show" with the Fairy Godmother and the mice. Literally 5 minutes and she was done. In September we had dinner at CRT. Even the quality of service has gone down. We had a spilled water glass that broke on our table. We had to ask 3 passing servers to help us clean up the water and the glass shards. We kept getting, "be right with you" type of answers. Our server was no where to be seen. We finished our meal and no one cleaned offered to clean up the mess. The manager appologized, nothing else.
