Anyone been to Chef Mickey recently...?

Can anyone tell me what was in the buffet...i know there are menus but i also know somtimes it is different.. coming down to 5 days before I call for my ADRs and I need to know if I should book it.. ugh .. tough decision.

I'm not sure about specifics of the menu but we love love love Chef Mickeys! We eat there every trip, in fact it's the only table service restaurant we're going to next trip.

You understand, even if you book it now based on what somebody tells you is available today, tomorrow, or the day you book your reservation - there's NO guarantee the same items will be available six months from now when you go to eat there, right?

We were there for characters, not the buffet food, but I do remember chicken nuggets, green peas, & mac n cheese, & a meat carving station. Desserts I recall were key lime tarts, cheesecakes, & chocolate covered oreo. I believe there was soft serve ice cream with toppings too.

If you are considering CM more for the food and not for the characters, you can do much better elsewhere. We were there early this month and the food variety and quality was poor. There was the usual kids station with mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, pizza, etc. They had carved turkey and some sort of beef, both dry and tasteless, mashed potatoes, veggies, salads, none of which really had us wanting seconds let alone even finishing our firsts. The desserts were pretty much just sweet, nothing special.
