I haven't seen any references to it lately. Is the character breakfast still held there? We're staying at AKL on our next trip and thought it would be a good thing to try (with DS age 7).

My DGDthen6 and I tried it last year. I wasn't that impressed with the food, but it was spring break and swamped when we went. The character interaction wasn't that good until my DGD lost a front tooth...then they all went nuts.LOL Mickey got blood on one of his white gloves.

I'd say give it a try. It's probably better when it isn't so crazy!;)

We enjoyed the food there, but it was the most stresful meal. I couldnt wait to get out of there. Our waiter shouted orders at us from the minute he picked us up at the gate, pretty much through the whole meal. I didnt like the way we needed an appointment to see the characters. If they were at our table and we werent, we were yelled for. I much prefer Chef Mickeys where things are less structured and more fun and relaxing.

We've been to the Character Breakfast at AK 2X and had a great time. We booked an early seating each time- 7:30 or 8am and the Restaurant was not crowded. My boys had a great time chasing the characters and being chased by them....

I have to say I liked the buffet- quality wasn't more than I expected but we were able to take some fruit, water and cereal (little boxes) for snacks later.
