My son has a field trip to Busch Gardens for a chorus competition. They're supposed to bring breakfast to eat on the bus and "enough money for lunch and dinner". I'm assuming he'll probably want to buy a drink or popsicle of something cooling midday. He'll be gone from home from about 5:30 a.m. until 1 a.m. so I want him to have enough food.

How much would you send?

Tampa or Williamsburg?

Not that it really matters.

I would send about $40 maybe $50

$12-$15 per meal... A couple of drinks and a snack.

It sounds like a lot but drinks are kind of expensive. (Food is surprising not too bad in both taste/quality and price)

The best deal is to get one of their dining packages. You can buy the tickets online and he can convert them at the park (at a kiosk). You can even order the refillable drink cup online. There are several options and they are anywhere from 10-30% cheaper than what you pay at the park. My DH and I used to use these all the time when we went.

You can then send less cash for souvenirs/games.
