Anyone been to a Super Pet Expo?

There is one about 2 hours from me this weekend. Sounds like something the kids would enjoy, but I'm not sure if it's worth a 2 hour drive.

Super Pet Expo omes to our area 2 times a year. We go because it is 6 miles from our house. I would not drive 2 hours to go. It is overpriced (at least here) to get in. It is mostly vendors and other add on costs. this year my dd friend wanted her picture taken with the wolves and it was $5-$10 for that. I can't remember, but I had to pay $3 just to let my dd go in and pet the wolf.

There are rescue groups there and it can be fun (which is why we go) but I am warning you it is a money pit!!

Because it is so close to us we do go, but I wouldn't drive 2 hours to go.

Thanks for the info. That is what I was afraid of - a bunch of vendors. I think we'll skip it.

I totally agree it's not worth the trip! I took DD last year and it was just a bunch of venders selling overpriced stuff for dogs. One thing we got to see that was sort of cool was the Worlds Ugliest dog and the pool jump competitions. Other than that it was boring... Not only for DD but myself as well.
