Anyone been shut out of party?

I cannot afford to buy my MNSSHP tickets for a while yet.

Has anyone been shut out of the tickets?

My plans are for Oct 3rd, and this is really the only day we can schedule it, so I'm a tad worried that they'll sell out...

Someone else mentioned that they really only "sell out" for the days surrounding Halloween itself?

Comments? Suggestions?

We had no problems ordering our tickets last year, even with a short notice. I was even told that they didn´t sell out for Halloween night itself, don´t know if that´s true.

You would have to look at my siggy to see what year we went in Oct, but that is the trip we bought tix at the hotel! Of course it wasn't Halloween Day. It was the middle of the month and I had no trouble getting tix at guest services. I don't know how things are lately though so be sure to buy them as soon as you can.

PS. I just checked. It was the 1996 trip. That was awhile ago so things may have changed. It may be more popular now. I am not sure.

Last year I couldn't decide whether to go or not and didn't end up getting my tickets until August and had no problem. We went around the middle of the month.

We're going again this year and I probably won't be able to buy the tickets until I finish paying for the trip. So I'm in the same boat but I'm not worried.

The only two nights to sell out last year we're the 30th and 31st of October, and those didn't sell out until a week and a month in advance, respectively. You should have no problem buying tickets for an early Oct. party right up until the day of the event. Just don't wait until the day of the party, because the ticket prices are higher.

I ordered my tickets for 10/3 today and they still had plenty.

Actually the 3rd, 10th, 24th, 30 & 31 did eventually sell out last year. But the 30 & 31 were the only ones that sold out in advance. The others sold out the day of or day before. You should have plenty of time however.
