Hi everyone
My sister is looking to go to Disney next February (Half term). Has anyone been in February / just back? What's the weather like? T-shirt and shorts weather or not warm enough for that? We saw on another thread that there was frost this year! Is that unusual?

Also, how crowded is it?

Thanks

We were there Feb 2005, until the 17th :sunny:

Have to say that the beginning of the month could be bitingly cold in the evenings but, the last few days before we were due to leave, the temperatures rose into the 80s :thumbsup2

We still got away with shorts etc in the day time, and DD spent loads of time in the pool - just that a jacket was need for the evenings (and ear muffs if you have them :rotfl: )

An older reply cut 'n' paste:

Yes, twice in February!

Its an excellent time to go crowd-wise. It may be Presidents Week when you are going, which is busier, but not as bad as Easter or Summer. Most rides are a walk on without any kind of planning. Universal was very quiet.

Both times the weather was good for me. A few mornings were cool but no real cold days. Maybe one day with jeans. It was very dry and rained once on each trip.

It wasn't too cold to swim at anytime, but I think one of the water parks was shut due it being off peak.

My only gripe would be the parks tend to shut a little early. Especially Universal who had a few private functions going on sometimes.

I would go again in Februray, but want to try different months out while I can still take the children out of primary school without worrying about them getting behind in their work.

I think you will get differences of opinion on the weather.

We went last March and it was 'changeable' to say the least, sunny days/rainy days/very cool days.
A lot of the mornings were very cool indeed, although I wore shorts the whole holiday a lot of people didn't, had to buy my wife and son sweaters from the parks because it just wasn't that warm.

Having said that, others will say they had lovely weather, the one thing for sure is you cannot guarantee it.

As Soprano says I think I could have copied the above from another thread too.

No problems crowd-wise.
