Anyone Beat $177/week for a Mini-Van?

Can anyone top the deal I have so far? $177.09 for a mini-van from Alamo for 7 days...September 14th - 21st.
After all the taxes and fees, my total is $226.38.
Thanks in advance! Counting the pennies (so we can get them pressed! LOL!) before we head out next Sunday.

The cheapest I have been able to do a minivan for from Alamo was $192 plus taxes and fees. Our dates were Sept 16-23. How did you get it down to $177?

a min van from L&M for 139 a week. Best price I have now is $199. I won't rent from that bunch of crooks at Alamo, even if it was free!!!

L&M is offsite, right?
Convenience is a major factor, but there are many other choices...

Our story- first trip to WDW, fall of 95, booking through a travel agent, got stuck with Alamo. Arrived at MCO, caught shuttle to off-site location. Stood in line for 2 hours while my wife and young children waited outside in the Florida heat. Finally got to counter, rude, high pressure service and a car I wouldn't let my worst enemy drive. We were green and didn't know any better. Just the thought of what we went through that first year still infuriates me! Never again.

Now we use Dollar and Fastlane. $199 a week and we love the mini-vans. Have always had Grand Caravans that had low miles.

On our most recent trip in April, walked by the new in-terminal Alamo counter. It was like deja-vu, a huge line of customers with few people working the counter. Many children standing around crying, some laying on the floor sleeping. Well at least they were in the air conditioning. The more things change the more they stay the same it seems, at Alamo anyway! JMHO

Alamo changed my weekly rate from $122 to over $400 for a full size car when I returned it. Only way I got a refund was THANKS to my Discover card! The customer service people at Alamo need a new name than is more reflective of their sevice. Like "NO CUSTOMER SERVICE"!!!!!

Nuthut....how did they manage to change your rate....I assume you had a confirmation and they wouldn't honor it....did they really just say tuff noogies
