I was baptized at age 14, and confirmed in a different church just last year, so I kind of understand your nervousness. Congratulations and

hugs!!!!The Catholic Church has a conversion process called RCIA. The adults generally go through a year long process and are initiated into the church during the Easter Vigil (Saturday night Mass before Easter Sunday). Quite often there are adults that have never been baptized. The Catholic church recognizes a baptism in any faith so not all adults do this but usually there are one or two.

I went through RCIA a few years ago. I was never baptized as a child so I received my batism, holy communion and confirmation all in the same night![]()

Thanks! You all are making me feel a lot more comfortable with the whole thing. My church isn't one that often does adult baptisms; in fact, I've never seen one done. That's one reason I'm nervous. But it's something I feel strongly about it, so I'm going to try and just focus on God and do what I feel He wants me to do.![]()
It will be a special day.
