I had heard that you can take the frozen ravioli and bake it in the oven with the sauce. Anyone ever do this? I know what I want to make for dinner but thought using the oven (as opposed to the stove) would warm the house up some....so tired of these cold gloomy days!!

I made a recipe one time and you layered the sauce, meat & frozen ravioli with mozzarella cheese. It came out very good.
Thanks for a dinner idea! :D

I just did an internet search for baked ravioli. Most of them call for you to cook the frozen ravioli first, only one said frozen is fine. I wanted a nice one-step meal. If I am going to go to all the trouble to cook the ravioli first, when stick it in an oven!??! Do you use frozen and just layer it with sauce and bake?

I've made thisa many times. It's good and super easy. Just layer your favorite sauce and the frozen ravioli. Start and end with sauce. Top with grated parmesan if you like. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 for 30 to 45 minutes. Enjoy!

Thank you so much!! :bounce: I LOVE fast, one dish meals!!! :lovestruc

We bake ours 2 ways. One is to put it in frozen with a little butter and garlic salt on top and eat it just like that, no sauce. Yum!

The 2nd is to put them in a dish and cover them with sauce and cheese and bake them. We do pasta shells like this, why should ravioli be any different?

It's in the oven....I'll let you know how it turns out. :p Looks yummy!!

I bake mine most of the time, it tastes great that way. I just put it in frozen, cover it up with a large jar of sauce, cover and bake at 350, usually for almost an hour. Yummy!!

I think I will try it tomorrow. I have a jar of vodka sauce, maybe I will try that with the ravioli.

I love new recipes!

I read this thread yesterday and today while looking for some frozen cod I thought I had in the freezer, I found a box of ravioli and an Italian sausage. Just put them in the toaster oven with a jar of sauce. Can't wait to see how this turns out. Thanks always quiet and others for the idea.
