anyone back from All Star Movies?

Has anyone been to All Star Movies lately? If so, was Herbie back? When we were there, he wasn't there in the Winner's Circle....not sure if it was because of the new movie they are filming or he was out "getting an oil change"?! Could someone please tell me if Herbie's "home"?? Thanks!

We were at AS Movies Oct. 2 - Oct.4 and Herbie was not in the winner's circle. Also the fountain in the large tire was not working either. Maybe due to the hurricanes? I also noticed that the hammock, which is between the Donald and Daisey figures, near the Fantasia section was missing.

I am going to bump this back up.....and add a question. Looking to stay in Love Bug building this time. Would like a view of courtyard and Herbie in the Winner's Circle (from 2nd or 3rd floor). Anyone have a specific room they could recommend? I have a general idea of what numbered rooms to ask for, but didn't know if anyone had an actual room number they could recommend. DS is crazy for Herbie!! Thanks!

We were at All Star Movies in 2nd floor rooms with views of the Winner's Circle from Dec 16-22, 2004. The fountain was working and Herbie was there. I want to say the our rooms were 6849 and 6851 but not really sure. They were in about the middle of floor and connecting. Mousekeeping was good and if we hadn't decided to buy DVC with the resultant changes in how we vacation, we would go back. Actually still might for times we don't want to burn points. It was our second stay at ASM with the first being in Mighty ducks in April. Hope this helps.

Thank you!! Most definately helps! Sooooo glad to hear Herbie is back!! We were really disappointed when he wasn't there!! I still have my resort map with the room numbers on it...but it's like 7400-7518 or something like that. I will definately be writing down your numbers and between that, my map and my AAA gal, we should be able to get something good! Thanks again!!!
