Anyone aware of a killer deal on Kitchenaid stand mixers right now?

I did a search for this on this site and saw several got $99 on the basic KA around Christmas time.

I don't need one immediately so I am willing to wait for a deal.

I do know Costco sells the 600 series at the best deal (which is even better than Kohl's deals or BBB discounts!), but I would settle for a lesser model for $99!

Thanks,

Dawn

I got my 600 series for $199 after rebate on Black Friday last year- there are always a lot of BF sales on them.

Very nice. I can certainly wait until Black Friday.

Did you have to get up at 3am to wait in line and fight little old ladies for it?

Please tell me how easy it was and where you got it last year.

Kohls will sometimes have them on sale or if you can get 30% off when they do the Kohls cash it's a good deal. A friend of mine did that and went back to get some accessories with her Kohl's cash.

Not too much different than the Costco everyday deal if I am doing the math correctly.

Kohls has the 600 series (not that I need this one but just a comparison)

Costco Price with rebate: $269
Kohl's Price for same mixer: $469
with 30% discount: $349 + $30 rebate + $60 Kohl's cash= $259 but you
still have to spend more at Kohls as the $60 has to be spent there.

Interesting...you have certainly done your research! :surfweb:

Oldest son is talking about getting married in the next couple of years. I thought a nice mixer would be in order. I don't think it would be a problem to hang onto it for a year or so, until they are ready for it. ;)

Well, not really. I have just searched Kohl's, Amazon, the KA refurbished site and Costco. I am comparing everything to Costco as they seem to have the best everday deal, but I would settle for a lower model if it is a killer deal (like under $150 or so!) or $200 or so for the high end model.

Check out the refurb mixers on the Kitchenaid website. We have bought these over the years and are great gifts.

We bought our Kitchenaide mixer at a Kitchen store at an outlet store. It was a re-furb one, and its been going strong for 7 years.

Thanks. As I mentioned, I have already gone to that site and the refurbs are the same price as Costco's NEW ones.

If you can get the 600 series at Costco that is an awesome price, grab it. Sams Club had the lower series and it was more than that years ago. I live near Greenville where they used to be made and their outlet area isn't even that low.
A friend of mine who worked there used to get two vouchers a year and she sold them on Ebay, you could check there, you would probably still end up paying over the Costco price with shipping.

I got my Kitchen Aid at Kohls a few years ago on Black Friday. Its the most basic model and it was $100 after the coupon, the rebates, and Kohls cash.

It was on sale for $199

$199- 30% ($60) = 139
$139 - $20 rebate = $119
$119 - $20 Kohls cash = $99

I got mine on Amazon on one of their lightning deals- I knew about it a day or two ahead of time, and just had to be at the computer at the right time. It was 249.99 with a $50 rebate (which came quickly and was no hassle). I only had two color choices, but am very happy with the metallic black I got.

I second watching Amazon. Frequently colors are discontinued and you can find great deals. I got my 600 series for dirt cheap because the color was "marshmallow". All the other colors were a couple hundred bucks more! So make sure if you look on Amazon you click on ALL the different colors, because they may all be different prices.

There are some colors I wouldn't get no matter how cheap they are (there is some wild pink color that wouldn't go in our kitchen at all for example. However, black would work.

I too want a Kitchen Aid Mixer.... We did our research a while back however. Plus, I specifically wanted one of the larger models to mix large batches of icing. I think we liked the Overstock.com price. I did not however, check the Costco price. So that still might be better. I second the idea of checking different colors. I personally would buy hot pink if it was on sale cheap enough and buy or make a fabric cover for it! :)

I ma hoping to get the mixer for my anniversary on Tues!

I will check back with them. They are $36 more than Costco for the same model.

Do they charge tax? Although no tax would make it about even with Costco.

I believe the $99 ones were a Lowes online special for BF. You had to be on their FB page when they put out the offer and click. It was impossible to get anything they put out because there were so few of them offered.
