Anyone attending the ALPFA convention august 4th-8th?

Hi. Anyone attending the ALPFA convention at the contemporary resort august 4th-8th of 2007? The association tells me that we don't need to bring documentation to the resort as proof of convention attendance. This makes me nervous cuz what if the resort refuses to give me the discounted room rate without proof? Has anyone attended these conventions in the past? Did the resort ask for proof of attendance or was the rate already taken care of for you by the ALPFA? This seems a bit disorganized and I'd like a little guidance as to how this all works. I just don't want to pay for an expensive convention fee and then get to the poly and end up paying rack rates. Thanks so much for your help
