anyone at VB now?

Just wondering if anyone is at Vero Beach right now. We are flying in on Saturday and staying at All Star Music (saving points) for the night and then driving to Vero on Sunday. Just curious if the weather is good and if there is any sign of, dare I mention, hurricanes?? We had bad luck one year one and hoping since all we are planning to do this trip is enjoy the beach/resort we have some good weather. Also does anyone know if they have refrigerators that they could store groceries if our room isn't ready when we get there? We have used garden grocer for other trips and they store the food in the fridge until we get there but wondering if Vero would do that if we get there too early (planning on hitting super walmart before we check in). Thanks..

Hey you have the same plans as us!! We fly in Saturday and we are staying off site at Buena Vista Suites, then we are going over on Sunday. I have been watching the hurricane center and there is no activity as of last night. Maybe we will see you there. If you see twin 7 year old red head boys running around that is us.

cool!! We leave on Friday, the 14th. We've never been to Vero so we are anxious to check it out!! I have 2 dd's ages 7 and 12. Glad to hear about the lack of looming hurricanes. We will keep our fingers crossed. We were once trapped in a Pop Century room due to one and that room got really small after awhile!! Hopefully Walmart will have some cheapo chairs we can pick up while we are there. Trying to avoid the daily rates to rent one! I'll keep an eye out.. I mean how hard will it be to spot twin red heads? lol.

No sign of hurricanes - this season is expected to be much quieter. Weather is incredibly disgustingly hot & humid...in other words normal for this time of year. You'll be soaking wet within 10 minutes of being at the beach or pool - without going into the water. This is why it's off season for Vero

That's one of the best times to visit IMHO. So long as you're not dodging a hurricane, it's warm but not an oven, humidy is more reasonable too. Ocean temps are comfortable.
