Just curious, how many Moms are being taken to the Happiest place on Earth for Mother's Day today? I wonder if it will be busy.....Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Disney Moms out there!!

We just got home and it was lovely. We did the special brunch at the Disneyland Hotel and we will definitely do it again!!!! Kudos to the staff there!

The park wasn't bad. We really didn't do a lot, but the lines seemed more normal and not the crowds that they had been having on Sundays. We even met a DIS family in line for the Monrail at DTD! They saw out LGMH on our stroller. Hi to Californiamom and her family!

All in all, a lovely way to spend Mother's Day!

We left around 5:30 pm and have to agree with Nancy. We didn't do the MD brunch, but the "Sweet Sunday" event at DCA - it was breakfast and three desserts. It was perfect weather, DL/DCA handed out a carnation and pin to every mom and the crowds were what I would call medium. It was an awesome day.:goodvibes

I wonder if we possibly saw you and I wasn't putting 2 and 2 together. We also left about the same time....

I had a pretty decent sunburn coming on with my long sleeveless white with red swirls top.

Hey - when is Dawn in for her Napa Class? I want to interview her!

We were there - my daughter and I. Got there about 8:45 AM and left around 3 PM. I received the carnation upon entry to Disneyland and thought that was a nice touch. We rode many rides without much of a wait. Used fast passes for a few and were surprised about with the attendance levels.. pleasantly. :) Headed to DCA briefly to check out the Food and Wine Fectival. Since I don't drink it didn't interest me much but saw some areas that look nice. Overall it was a great day for my daughter and I. My son decided not to come so there was no fighting..

This is like our 8th consecutive year of taking my wife to the Mother's Day Brunch and end it with the trip to the Park. Personal opinion... I think that the Brunch is a bit overpriced for what you get. Even with the AP discount, just the brunch for 2 adults and 2 kids came close to $200! The quality and quantity of food has sure declined over the years. I think that even the dessert bar had less of a selection than in the past (though it occupied the same space).

The Park was not as packed as it was in the past. On some of the bigger rides (Matterhorn & Splash Mountain) the wait was about 15 to 20 minutes. We did get stuck on the Matterhorn (yes stuck on the ride itself) for about ten minutes. The nice thing was that they let us ride it through again without getting off.

Afterwards, we went to Naples for dinner. Did they change the menu? The selection of food has sure changed since the last time we were there.

I was at the Sweet Sunday event with my Mom and lulubelle and her family--it was very fun (and of course the champagne helped!)

I have a new puppy at home or else I would have stayed longer--but "nature calls"

Dawn and her DH are taking the Napa Rose class next weekend. I would PM her so you can meet up with her.

Also, we're having a little "mini-meet" of people at WCT at noon for lunch on Sunday. so if you're going to be around let me know and I'll add you to the reservation. One of the prolific and helpful DVC people on the boards is going to be in town and a few of us are meeting up with him.

Later gator!
