Anyone at the Home Suite Home / Old "NikKi Bird"

Hi,
We stayed last year at the Nikki Bird and interestingly enough, enjoyed it. We have read mixed reviews about the Home Suite Home. $149 for a week stay! No service during the week, so we would have to wash our towels, sheets, ect. This is OK, but I can't stand the thought of roachs, dirty beds, or dirty gross pools. Anyone stayed recently?

Your big issues with these hotels is the type of clients they attract. Generally it's not your fellow vacation goers and I personally would not be comfortable with them. Sure some of them are just working poor, but where I live there have been several Drug and gang issues with residents of these hotels not far from here. (And it's a nice area of town so this owuld be theo only type of lodging you can get for $150 a week LOL!) YOu have a much higer risk of things like roaches simply due to the lack of housekeeping and people keeping more food in the room.

Thanks for the info. It was a holiday inn last year and we had just wanted reviews with the hotel management change.
