Anyone at Polynesian last Christmas?

Just trying to get a feel for how crazy it will be at the resort and parks in the days leading up to Christmas. We will be at WDW 12/19 through 12/23. I expect that our first two days, Thursday and Friday, won't be tooo bad, but that on Saturday things really get busy. Just curious if anyone can recall how it was last year. Thanks!

Last year at the Wilderness Lodge, we really noticed the masses starting to arrive on the Friday before Christmas - which would be the 20th this year. In the days before that, there were no lines for rides, no waits for restaurants, etc. On that Friday before Christmas, we started noticing tons of people arriving and checking in. By that night there were lots of lines for rides, waits for restaurants, and tons of people in the pools. That Saturday was an absolute madhouse in the Magic Kingdom. I assume it will follow pretty much the same pattern this year. Your Thursday will be pretty calm, but things will really be picking up by Friday evening.
