Anyone at DL now or very recently? What are people wearing?

Just wondering about the weather there right now. We leave in less than 2 weeks, coming from Colorado so we're used to shorts at 75 degrees. What's the weather like right now?

It's been very odd weather wise here lately. It has been changing day to day from between 60-80 degrees. The next few days will be rainy and in the low-mid 60's. You'll just need to keep an eye on the forecast.

Yeah, like the PP said, the weather is being weird lately. In two weeks, who knows! Today it is sunny and warm, tomorrow is supposed to be cold and gray. Just keep an eye on the weather. I usually wear a long-sleeve over tank top with jeans in the early morning, take the long-sleeve off during the afternoon when it's warm (if it is), and then put the long-sleeve back on at night when it gets cooler. If I'm staying really late, I'll go back to the hotel to change or bring a thicker hoodie along, as at night it can be low 50's, even when it's 75 during the day.

Wear what you're comfortable in. If I wore jeans like most of the people during our trip (in March) I would have died, I'm glad I wore my shorts and tanks! (And it provided me much laughter when I was walking around, perfectly comfortable and the CA girls behind us were complaining how cold they were...in jeans and long sleeves! )

When I was there in January I noticed that they wear a lot of black--black pants, black shirts, black jackets, black shoes, black boots, black bags and so on. I saw more black being worn than anything else.

If you're comfy in shorts, wear shorts. Wait, at 75? That is something like 20 degrees beyond shorts weather!

You'll see so cal natives (or people who are just already used to it) bundled up against the cold of 73 (like my sis in law), you'll see people from WA wearing shorts at 50 degrees. You'll see people like me, wearing a skirt and shirt during the day, but then putting on a sweatshirt over a shirt when it gets dark, b/c the temperature usually drops fast at night.

I just got back two days ago. I saw people wearing everything - from shorts to jeans every single day. The weather was pretty cool in the mornings - I needed a jacket and I am very cold natured. I usually wore capris and one day a skirt - but changed to jeans that evening! I wore jeans one day. Pack for everything!

I'm from the Seattle area and 80 is like sitting on the sun for me....so SoCal weather is a bit too warm for me.

However, what I do at this particular time of year at the parks is always, jeans, short sleeved t-shirt, shoes and socks and bring a sweatshirt. I start with the sweatshirt on in the morning, usually take it off during the day and then back on again it goes in the evenings.

At this time of year it can be a bit chilly (even for someone from WA) in the mornings and evenings. Also, if you're doing Fantasmic and are lucky enough to have an upfront view, the spray from the show will be cold and you'll be super thankful for a sweatshirt and the shoes and socks! Flip flops/sandals won't cut it!

Of course summertime is different. Then it's shorts, short sleeved t-shirt, flip flops (try the Teva Mush!) and a sweatshirt. Works great!!

I just got back on Sunday. I'm from Oregon, so like you shorts weather is just about anything above 70. It was HOT every day we were there. I packed a combo of jeans and shorts and never even touched the jeans. The sun in socal just makes it feel wayyy hotter than it actually is, because the weather was saying it was only like 65-70 and it felt like 80+.
