Is anyone at BWV now, or plans be there this weeks?

I've been trying to find out the brand and model of the king mattress they use at the BWV...

These mattresses are heaven... and I want to try to get a similar one for home.

If you're at BWV, please take a minute to copy this info down and send me a PM.

Thanks in advance!

Don't just PM - POST IT.....HERE!
We were there in August, and OOOMMMMGGGG that was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept on!! I too want to know what it is - and was considering calling BWV directly to find out!! If anyone finds out this information, PLEASE post it here!!

Had the same out of body experience on a king at VB this year. I found the manufacturer label (Sealy), but I could not find a model name. :confused3

Me too, me too! We were there in June and I took a nap everyday just to spend more time in it! :cloud9:

Mattresses sold for commercial use most likely will not be available individually to consumers. I say this with my 20 years experience in retail furniture sales, lol. If Sealy is the brand name, then I would visit a few reputable sleep centers/retail stores and try to find something of comparable comfort.

Good luck!

Some info to get to help narrow down the search (some require a tape measure)

1) Mattress depth

2)Pillowtop or Non pillow

3) Button configuration and Spacing

Not only does Sealy have different names between commerical and private use - but they (and other manufactorers) also change mattress names between stores which prevents easy price comparison. RoomstoGo, Mattress Man, and Costco may all sell the same mattress - but it won't be called the same name at any of them.

(Can you tell I bought a new mattress earlier this year? :rolleyes1 )

Happy Hunting All!

Thank you WDWguru.... who's at BWV this week, and was able to pass me the info. The king mattress is a 'Sealy Posturepedic, Encore 720 Plush'.

CarolAnne... You're probably right, about this likely to be a commercial model. At least the info gets my in the general ballpark.

Too bad Sealy doesn't sell this one to the public. DVC and Disney properties would be great advertising for them. I stayed at Disney's Grand Californian last month and they had the same mattress. I loved it so much that I looked at the name on the mattress. Now I just wish that they cold tell me what is comparable, but there are so many variables with mattresses.

If anyone is still there, can you measure the height of the mattress and tell me whether it has a pillowtop?
