Anyone at a mod resort get offered an upgrade?

Just hoping...since both values and moderates are sold out for free dining.

I've been reading most of the threads on this subject and it seems to be the value resorts only, between Aug. 26-Sept.1. Last year we were booked for Pop for free dining and was upgraded to CSR at checkin. Didn't ask, they just offered it when we checked in. We were surprised. But this newest upgrade is way better.

There are some mod resorts still left during free dining that I've found, but not values.

Yes, we checked in and the CM said our room was not ready, but to wait as he had to check something. He came back and said there was a message on our screen to offer us an upgrade to the CSR. Asked, "do you want to move to CSR for FREE".....of course you know the answer. After 60 visits to WDW, this was the biggest upgrade we ever got.
