I am planning on hitting the 24 hour day tomorrow. I'm not really doing it for rides just the atmosphere. Problem is I won't be able to get there until closer to 7. Do you think they will be at capacity since both parks are open or do you think it will possible to get in. I don't care if its 3 hour wait for rides I just want to be able to get in the park. I will be checking throughout the day to see but I was wondering if anyone has any clue

Last time the park hit capacity right about 8- when they closed DCA. You might make it in if you are at the gate at 7, but will you be at the gate or off trying to park, catch a tram, or still fighting traffic? I would say you might be cutting it close.

I'm interested in this too. We'll be heading down from NorCal but won't be arriving into the area until past 11:00 p.m. How crowded do people think it will be around midnight?:crowded:

I actually suspect the bigger issues may be parking, traffic control, street congestion, etc, especially in those evening hours once people get off work. Those were all problems for the last 24-hour event. With both parks being open (sort of, the DCA grad night skews the capacity there a bit), that should help, but the parks just seem more popular than ever these days, and this time the 24-hour event is a Friday night at the beginning of a holiday weekend. I would say to bring a lot of patience and hope for the best.

The person I am going with gets off at 5 in LA so im giving 2 hours to get there parked but I know I will need more time than that. I'm just hoping to get in. Once I'm in Ill be relaxed and since I'm an AP holder and have been plenty before I'm just going for the experience and to say I was there type thing.

My mom and I are planning to head to the park around 4pm on Friday (tomorrow)...do you think it'll be at capacity then? We had no idea it was the 24-hour day until this afternoon, as we live in NorCal now. This will basically be the last time we can use our passes until August so we really want to go! I really have no clue what goes on on this 24hr thing because I was totally MIA last year aswell.
