I haven't been able to find anyone who was able to successfully make a reservation using the on-line ADR system and a DVC confirmation code.

At least for me, I get a warning that says,

We are unable to retrieve your reservation. You may continue to make your dining reservations, contact your travel agent, or call 407-WDW-DINE for assistance.

Disney Vacation Club Members may also contact Member Services for assistance.

Has anyone had any success with this, yet? The person I talked to at DVC this am says that it is because I'm outside of my 90 day window, but looking at other threads, I don't think this is true.

Thanks for your advice!

I still get the same message as you. Where did you read someone had been successful.

A new thread on this is a good idea. We need one place to check on the status of this issue.
The other thread on this went down the split stay issue and no one was reporting on the DVC 90+10 issue.

I was successful a few days ago for a trip 7-5 to 7-10. I was even able to get Chef Mickey's for 5 people. I got the confirmation number.

It looked like it was gone after I made it but everything turned out fine. At first I was not able to print the confirmation. I even got an e-mail confirmation.

Good Luck!

Was the trick making sure your phone number was in the reservation system or something else?

I think the focus of this thread is the issue where people with DVC confirmation numbers can't make 90+10 day online ADRs.

ours isn't working either. I even called and had them fix my phone number. It still doesn't work. Looks like disney really screwed this one up.

kapeman was right. I was trying to see if anyone had success in getting the on-line system to accept your DVC reservation number, thereby allowing you to make reservations past the 90 day mark. (so up to 90+10)

From reading older threads, it seems like there is no problem for non DVC members in making on-line reservations past in this +10 window, but the system still won't accept the DVC confirmation numbers.

Anyone had luck yet?

I was able to get Le Cellier (for dinner on friday Sept. 25th) at exactly 90 days away online. I just got up early and at 6am when the date changed I made my reservation quickly. So, you still have an advantage if you know what you're doing. Can't do any reservations for dates beyond that. But, for the other restaurants I don't need to worry about it.

We had a reservation at OKW booked and I was not able to get our reservation to pull up through the online system. Then, this week, our BLT waitlist came through (new confirmation number) and that confirmation number also is not pulling up in the online dining system. I kept hoping that the system being down for those couple of days would fix the problem, but it seems like Disney is addressing this issue by just advising DVCers to call MS - - putting us 3 hours behind everyone else. Thanks, Disney! :sad2:

Calling MS would be silly... Just book your hardest to get meal at EXACTLY 90 days out. Then, wait an hour and call 407-WDW-DINE and get the rest. MS doesn't open up until 9:00.

I think Tramp&TheLady has a good plan.

DVCers should use the on-line reservation system at the 90 day mark starting at 6am.

Then to get the rest of your reservations within your 10 day window, call 407-WDW-DINE at 7am.

Probably also a good strategy to try to get the "hard" reservations for later in your stay...

Yup! Just to summarize... A couple more strategies that helped me this morning:
1. Get on the website at least ten minutes before six AM
2. Use a website with an atomic clock (Disney's time is exact)
3. Get your Le Cellier, O'hana, Crystal Palace (or whatever is your hardest res) online at EXACTLY your 90 day mark
4. Get offline and get ready to call 407-WDW-DINE at exactly 7AM. Get ready to hit redial if the recording states they are still closed. I had to hit redial once and got in on the second try (wait was 4 minutes).
5. Get your next hardest to get ADR's first thing as soon as the CM picks up.

THat's what I did and got exactly the restaurants that I wanted on the dates I wanted. Don't worry, as DVC members we do have the advantage that we know the system better than most people. Good luck!!:wizard:

Could only get dinner my first night because my reservation # won't work in the online system. So stinking frustrated right now. I get they have to work out kinks in the system but I peeved that people right now are wrapping up there ADR's for there stay and I am sitting here watching the clock till 7.

If there are problems with the online system then why don't they just change the refresh time till 7am for the web page :confused3(an easy peasy thing to do) until they work out the same issues so everyone is on the same playing field (and even then wouldn't be totally fair since I expect to wait on hold for 45 minutes).

I am bracing myself for the worst when it come to ADR's at 7 today. Grr.

This was the response I received from Disney when I e-mailed them about it -

"Thank you for contacting Member Services..
Disney Vacation Club Members can book dining reservations "90+10" days
in advance of their resort reservation by calling the Disney Reservation
Center (beginning at 7 a.m. EDT) or Member Services (beginning at 9 a.m.
EDT). The new online system is in its early phase and there are segments
that the system currently does not recognize. These have been identified
and we are actively working towards solutions."

Helpful, huh?

I just want to say that I'm not surprised DVC members are having trouble with the online ADRs. I have tried a few times unsuccessfully to call the main dining line that opens at 7 AM and make ADRs. Everytime I've been told that the "regular" dining CMs cannot access DVC member confirmation numbers. I could make one reservation for exactly the 90 days and then I wouldn't be able to make any more after that. Same thing with the online ADRs. I can make ONE reservation for exactly 90 days from today but that's it; it will not accept my DVC confirmation number. I called MS this morning to make ADRs for my September trip and they seemed surprised that I couldn't use the online system for 90 + 10 ADRs. . .??? I hope they fix it because I do NOT think its fair that the rest of the Disney loving world gets to make ADRs as soon as their window opens up and DVC members are stuck waiting until 9 AM for member services to open!! OK, rant over, thanks for listening!! ;)

Saturday night I spent 30 minutes on the phone with the nicest person trying to figure out why my reservation number kept giving me an error for the online dinning reservations that said
DVC must call dinning reservations
We could not figure it out, she told me I would have to call in the morning and chalked it up to maybe it was a BLT thing or the bugs have not all been worked out.
So, I got up at 6:30 stated dialing at 6:58 and got in the second redial,
After 10 minutes on hold the person on the phone said
Thank you for calling Victoria and Albert
AHHHHH, I know I pressed the right buttons she said she was so sorry that has been happening lately
I had to hang up and call back… 42 minutes on hold later
“Welcome to..... Dial tone”, THEY DISCONNECTED ME I really thought I might throw the phone against the wall
I called back and 56 minutes later..
I got most of what I wanted not really at the times I wanted, but I did get a pirate and pals boat so that almost made up for my morning.
I know that the system is new I am just hoping that the bugs can get worked out before my next trip. GOOD LUCK to all

Obviously Disney wants all DVC members to eat off property, how are the restaurants over at Universal. :cool2:
