Anyone a Disney Rewards Visa Cardmember?

We got ours about 6 months ago, and I found the information vague and confusing, but this is what I was able to glean.
For every 100 you put on the VISA, you get 1 reward point. When you hit 20 points, you can go on the Chase website and "cash in" your rewards. They send you a credit card looking thing that converts your points into dollars. Each point becomes 1 dollar. As you accumulate points, you can move them from the Chase site to your card.
I haven't used the reward card yet, but I assume if I want to buy something at the park, I just hand it to them like any credit card.
Hope this helps.

In addition to the rewards card which we load and use each time we go to DLR, the additional perks we use most often are:

2 free strollers per day by showing Disney Visa and ID
Discounts on certain tours
Disney Visa Meet & Greet with free photo in DCA

Discounts on any purchase over $50 as well. You can purchase *special* pins by showing your Visa card too.

Yes, we are Disney Reward VISA cardmembers. We do the meet and greet every day that we are there. It is located in the Vineyard Theater. No, it was not crowded any of the days that we were there. You may have to hunt for it. The first day that we were there, a sign was outside of the theater, but the other two days, we had to actually go into the theater. Make sure you have your VISA easily available and don't be shy about asking for several poses, so that you have several to choose from. Have fun!

Some other non-park perks:

You get fliers in the mail to buy Disney on Ice tickets before they go on sale to the public.
We also got to buy Little Mermaid broadway tickets before they went on sale to the public.

I have found my other credit card gives me more money back than the Disney dollars, so I only use this card sparingly, but will keep it for those little perks as long as it remains free.

We use ours for food discounts and use it to earn reward dollars. We pay it off right after the new rewards posts to avoid fees.In six months we have 59 dollars which we will use for food at select locations. We also like getting the free strollers.

One thing to remember- the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney does *not* take the rewards/points card. I mean, they accept the VISA, but not the reward gift card.

We have never actually done the Meet and Greet but I got the VISA members only pin last time we were there which was kind of cool.

I bought the pin at the store just inside the Frontierland entrance, on the left as you come in from the hub.

Are you talking about in Orlando or California? I used my rewards/points card at the World of Disney store in Anaheim with no problem; I had even thought there was a certain number of dollars on it and there were actually less and they could tell me that.

We just got our cards today. Just in time for our trip!

Wondering if anyone was a member and could give us some info on the cards benefits and if they helped your trip- and if anyone has attended the exclusive meet and greet event at DCA?

Here are the details:

Thanks!

We did the Meet and Greet three times last weekend. It was great. Generally you can only have six people in the photo, but because it was my in-laws 50th anniversary, they allowed all 11 of us to be in the photo. They took three different poses: everybody, just the couple, and then the bloodline. Since we both have Visas, they gave us two vouchers for free pictures. And no, we did not have a wait at all. As for the characters, the first day was Chip 'N Dale, and the other two days were Goofy and Mickey.

I used my rewards card there last time we went, in October of 2006. They didn't give me any problems at all.

We got our pins at PT Flea in CA. They have special pins for AP holders and Visa holders. :)
