I'm wondering about the exam. I'm getting really, really nervous. I'm signed up to take it 12/12. I have not done the amount of studying I should of. I've been working super amounts of overtime and then I was very sick w/ H1N1 for almost 10 days.
I've been coding for 14 years. I've been doing the practice exams and from the first one to the most recent one I've gone from failing to passing w/ a good score.
I only know 3 people that have taken the exam. 2 never worked in a medical setting a day in their life and passed w/ flying colors. The other is a well respected coder and biller and just took it recently and said she barely passed and it was the hardest test of her life. She felt the practice exams did nothing to prepare her, but one of the other individuals said they were exactly like the exam.
Anyone else take it? How did you do?
