Anyone 3+ weeks out waiting for tax refund?

I filed our taxes electronically and for direct deposit on Feb 5th. They were accepted the same day. Here I am 22 days later still waiting on my refund. Anyone else?

I got my state refund in less than a week. I did pull up my account transcript on the IRS page and it showed everything as correct- no weird codes. When I googled the code for processing it showed it should have processed the 17th with deposit by 21-which was of course a bank holiday.

I am giving it until Monday until I call but everyone keeps telling me how fast they got their refund and I am like "still waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Congrats on your rebate! I am in no hurry to finish my taxes as give the government more of my money!! However, I did hear that they have been taking longer the past few weeks to process.

I can't even file yet because the IRS was so late in finalizing the forms that the software program doesn't have an update available yet.

But I e-Filed my son's return on Feb 12th and his money was deposited this week. It was a very simple form though, one W2 + standard deduction.

Did you try the IRS website "Where's My Refund"? It might tell you if there is delay. You just need you SSN, filing status, and exact dollar amount of refund.

Yes I check it everyday! Lol. I went from the three bars and processing the first week to it just saying processing the past two weeks. My bars disappeared.

Mentally it is easier for me to get a nice refund and roll it to savings but I will just keep my cash this year in a separate account rather than go the refund route. Just have to keep it out of sight so to speak so I don't spend it!

I filed ours around the 12th and it went in our account today. We have the long form with a few extra forms but it's pretty much the same stuff as previous years. Hope you get an answer soon!

We filed Federal & State on Feb 15th (with turbo tax) and got both electronically deposited on Friday the 21st.

We used an accountant this year and ours was filed Feb 20 and yesterday (Feb 27) it showed pending in our account for Federal. Our State takes forever to come.

Same exact story. Filed 2/5. Accepted right away. bars on WMR disappeared a couple weeks ago. Waiting in limbo

Yes, mine is still pending. Accepted immediately but still no sign of a return for either. I'm thinking it's because I have a very large refund since I Made a real large payment to my deferred comp. just heard from the state yesterday, pretty much the same "large" refund. The state now wants copies of 1099/W2s. They don't want to pay either. So much for e-filing

OP, I efiled 2/12 and had my federal refund deposited on 2/24.

Wish I could say I filed. My mortgage bank is giving me a hard time releasing the end of the year interest paid statement. I've called 2x requesting it after not receiving it. I am not able to retrieve it from their website. Boy am I getting frustrated!

I believe Fed law is they have to make it avail/send it out by the last day of Jan. A call to the Fed's may be the kick in the behind the mortgage co needs.

That's what I thought and that's what I told them during our last conversation. That was on Monday. Here it is Friday and still no docs. If I do not receive them by tomorrow's mail, I will be on the phone first thing this coming Monday!

Got a DDD of march 5th so 1 month exactly from acceptance to refund!

Mailed mine yesterday. We'll see. My CPA doesn't do electronic filing but due to some issues related to settling my mom's estate, it would not have been an option anyway. Most complicated tax return I've done since my MIL passed 14 years ago.

I thought the same thing and called my bank for my interest statement , which I hadn't gotten yet only to be told they didn't mail any statements until Feb 1st.

Back on topic, we filed on Feb 8th and got our Fed refund (e-filed) this past week. We had to mail the state one in so no refund yet.

We filed electronically on Feb. 23 and the refund was deposited on Feb. 28! that's a record for us! Of course, we'll probably wait for months for our State refund.....
