The temperature today was 90 F with a humidex of 107 F



I must say I prefer this to the cold and snow of last winter.

All I can say is ..... Thank goodness for air conditioning

Hello northern neighbor. I feel your pain. My truck was reading 94 degrees an hour ago. It's really windy right now. I think we are supposed to get storms tonight and then the high tomorrow is 70.

Thunderstorms with very strong winds have just been passing through our area heading towards the east.

I don't know if it has cooled down any at all outside yet though.

We in North Texas are in a very odd weather pattern. It's been raining for days on end, and hasn't gotten out of the 70's!

I'll take it, though, without complaining. Those days and days of over 100 F will come all too soon.

Made it up to 90 today here as well, but we're used to it. 90 degrees is not even news worthy anymore.

We are about 30 miles from the Canadian border and it was in the 90s (right now it is 89 due to the rain we just had). We had these really short rain showers that are helping with the heat.

HaHa ! Oh, yeah!

A couple of years ago my grandmother was watching me pack our suitcases to go to Toronto. She could not understand why we were packing shorts, etc. It was July, and actually Toronto is SOUTH of us, yet she still could not get it why we were not packing coats!

I used to be one of those people that thought Canada was always cold. Well, at least not in the 90's! But I met with a Canadian years back and she told me that I was wrong.

Anyway, in NY it is still hot.
