Anybody watch Dr. 90210?

I'm really surprised that Dr.Reys wife isn't involved in playgroups with her children (unless they don't show that on the show)..they don't even show her taking them to the park, shopping..anything. It seems like she's just "stuck" at home all the time and I am sure that contributes to her eating disorder and her stress. She really needs to get out more, with or without Dr. Rey.

I agree with the poster who said they were surprised that Dr.Diamonds wife wanted to quit her job. Dr.Li has a child and still works and Baby Max seems to be doing great. It just seems odd that she would want to quit being a doctor just to start a family

I love watching the show.

I do feel bad for the wife. They are sure cute to watch and it brings back memories. I worked (a nanny) for a PS in Philly, his wife is a doctor also.

I'm in the minority here, because I like Dr. Rey and I don't like Dr. Diamond or his wife. Dr. Rey isn't the one with issues IMHO. His wife has some serious issues, though. She seems completely dependent on her husband emotionally. Also, she wanted that big mansion, because they "outgrew" their other (quite large) house NOTHING seems to make her happy.

Dr. Diamond seemed to have reservations before proposing to his wife. I think that they are mismatched.

I watch, too. I just can't help it.

I really don't care for Dr. Rey. He seems odd. He's gone 4 nights a week for his martial arts classes.

She seems pretty unhappy, too. She just stood there on their date night while he talked martial arts with the chef. She was clearly upset. I would have walked out of the place and told DH to call me when he wanted to spend time with me.

Something about Dr. Diamond bugs me. He and his wife don't seem like they have a lot in common. Maybe it's just because we really don't get to know them personally on the show. If she wants a baby then tell your DH. Their whole baby or house conversation really turned me off. Say what you mean. Time is short. I think she said she was my age 34-still young but I would definately be straight forward with DH about wanting to try for a baby in case she/he have fertility problems.

I like Dr. Li and her DH. He seemed really funny on the season opener making jokes about her not realizing that having sex results in babies.

I also was surprised at how many people don't like Dr.Rey's bedside manner. I find it nice that he likes his work so much.

I had plastic surgery in June and my surgeon told me that Dr. Rey isn't even a board certified plastic surgeon. Saying you're board certified, does not necessarily mean plastic surgery. You could be board certified in...anything. So, I thought that was interesting.

I want to take Hailey by the shoulders and shake her. She drives me nuts! Not that she necessarily annoys me, she seems like a nice woman, but that she plays the helpless, martyr wife all the time. She needs to stand up for herself!

She asked for the large house, knowing full well he was going to have to work more to pay for it. Now she hates it and whines about him working too much. She says she has no friends yet she never seems to try to make friends or do anything socially. She says she wants more time for herself yet she never makes it a priority. She says that she wants more time with him yet she never really pushes the issue or demands it. She doesn't care for herself and is starving herself. She's lonely and depressed. What does she do all day?

I'm just a strong woman so their marriage just boggles my mind. I can't imagine being that kind of wife. Stand up for yourself, woman!!! Quit whining and take control of your life!

If I remember correctly I read something recently where Dr.Will said he would become part of the Dr.90210 cast next season. I will DEFINITELY tune in for that

I have friend who is a surgical tech for a plastic surgeon in Newport Beach. The Dr. he works for said that the Rey's split up a while ago. I wonder how long ago they taped this season....hmmmm.

Roberto Miguel Rey Júnior, known simply as Robert Rey, (born October 10, 1961) is a plastic surgeon and is featured on the E! reality series Dr. 90210.

Born in São Paulo (Brazil), he holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Arizona State University, and an M.D. from Tufts University School of Medicine and has a successful practice in Beverly Hills, CA. He trained at Harbor-UCLA for general surgery followed by a plastic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee, although he does not have board certification in plastic surgery. I hope it is. She needs to toughen up. I would think her marriage is what is making her very unhealthy. She needs to create a life for herself.

This would so not surprise me since they never seem to spend any quality time together or even enjoy each other's company. But, I do think Dr. Rey is a much more interesting surgeon to watch than Dr. Diamond and his wife, Jessica. I can't pinpoint what I don't like about them, but something just rubs me wrong about those two.
