i'm trying to learn to successfully post photos here, and i needed an excuse, lol. so i thought i'd share a Tigger Tail photo!

so here's my attempt at posting a photo....(please let it work, please let it work....LOL!)...

YAY! it worked!

i made these at home about a year ago. i tried posting the link to the article i wrote with directions, but i guess we're not allowed to post links? or maybe none with my name in it, lol? (i have posted the link in here before when i first made them, thinking others might want the info...maybe that became an issue?) i don't know, but if anyone wants to know how to make these at home, if you type "how to make disneyland tigger tails at home" into your search bar, the article will come up.

OMG those looks devine!!!!!!!!!!!! I want one, I want one now ( with Veruca Salt

Marshmallows dipped in carmel then dipped in orange flavored chocolate then drizzeled with dark chocolate they are super sweet and you will want to share, but boy oh boy are they good!!!!

i just realized that the article i wrote about them didn't say to include orange flavoring. that's because i had never actually eaten a Tigger Tail at DLR, i had just seen them, and decided to try to copy them at home one day when we were missing disneyland, lol.

now i'll have to try making them with orange flavoring. i thought they tasted really good with the vanilla flavored chocolate, and come to think of it, orange and chocolate together kind of gives me a headache (like those chocolate oranges you can buy and crack into slices?).

so maybe i won't try them with the orange....but for anyone who wants to make them at home and wants them to taste just like they do at disneyland, you'll need some orange extract!

:thumbsup2

Wow, those are beautiful! I think you inspired me. DD could not get enough of these in May and she got them all to herself cuz no one else will eat marshmallows in the family.
She'll think she's died and gone to heaven if she got them at home :rotfl2:
Thank you for sharing!

So much for THAT diet ... I think I gained 5 pounds looking at the picture (which showed up very nicely). I've done candy-dipped marshmallows before, but never with the caramel, so I might have to check out that article.

Thanks for the inspiration, maybe not for the calories I am going to be eating if this works ...

I have made them here at home as well.. both ways with orange flavoring and without I like them a bit better without the orange!

good to know! i think the orange flavoring would be too much for me, lol.

i'm going to make more before we go on our next DLR vacation, to take with us. but i'm going to make them much smaller, with mini marshmallows (maybe 6 or 7 mini marshmallows per pop?), because the regular sized Tigger Tails are just TOO much sugar.....we all seem to feel pretty sick after eating about half, lol.

just wanted to mention, that when i made them, i had to let the caramel cool just a tiny bit, and then use a spoon to sort of "ladle" the caramel onto the marshmallows. i only worried about covering the tops of the marshmallows, myself. but when i make the mini Tigger Tails, i'll probably try to cover them all the way around.

:)

This just inspired me to make some - it's mid afternoon in Sydney! I jumped in the car, went to the supermarket, purchased some marshmallows (had everything else) and have gone to work. The caramel is setting now.

But they will be Albino Tiggr Tails :lmao: as I only have white choc, and no orange colouring gel!

please post pics with your finished product would love to see them!!!

OK - disclaimers first. I had nothing to colour them orange! I used only 3 marshmallows rather than 4, note to self - reading instructions is a good idea;). My piping bag burst for the dark choc, so I had to fork flick!

:cool1::cool1:BUT THEY ARE SO YUMMY that none of the above matters :cool1::cool1:

So appearance aside, here they are....

hey, i like them in that color! :thumbsup2

even though there are several steps involved, i still feel like these are a very easy treat to make. we only made them once, but like i mentioned before, i plan to make some mini Tigger Tails pretty soon!

(you could even make them in different colors to match birthday parties, christmas festivities, 4th of july, etc.) :)

ALSO, i noticed from pictures i found yesterday that Tigger Tails from disneyland now seem to be made with 4 whole marshmallows....whereas before, when i saw them inside the shop at disneyland, i SWEAR they were bumpy...one big marshmallow, one half marshmallow, etc., making them look "curvy". was i HALLUCINATING?!! have they ALWAYS been just 4 whole marshmallows pushed together side-by-side???
