Anybody waitlisted for BCV Jan. 9-18th 2 br?

I am on the waitlist for a 2 br. at BCV (home resort) for these dates. I really hope we get it, but are at the BWV instead, so thats not bad either. As this is our first DVC trip I really wanted to get our home resort, but I could only book this on MOnday of this week because our points were in holding. Anyway, wondering if anyone else is waiting for the word with me.

I'm not on the waiting list for a 2 bedroom at BCV- I actually have one reserved, but I have tried to secure just a studio at anywhere but OKW and it has been difficult! We really wanted to try VWL and there was nothing available, and that was 3-4 weeks ago. I have a feeling it's gonna be very crowded!

If it isn't looking good couldn't you use holding points at a non DVC WDW resort, too? Might be easier to get?

No, I wouldn't use my holding points at another resort. We're already booked at the BWV, for which I'm really grateful for as we are booking 60 days prior to arrival. I still can't believe I got that! But I guess I'm just trying to get the best and that would be my home resort. I know, crazy, but thats what I was looking forward to. But its still all good! If I don't get the call, thats fine with me. I'll just never get my points in holding again!

Karebear, are you on a waitlist at VWL? Hey, maybe if you get your wish, we'll get ours at BCV's!

Sorry Jillpie! We didn't waitlist at VWL- I just reserved at BWV for a studio for an additional 3 days- we extended our trip and are staying now at BWV and BCV's. You'll have a great time no matter where you are though!

No, not waitlisted, but reserved from 1/11-1/18 in a 2BR. We booked at 10 months out for it.
