We are considering using this as an option to use up some of our TS meals if we have to cancel ADR's because our plans change. Just wondering if you would be able to order one meal and share between two people and it would only count as two TS credits? I don't think it would be a good deal to have to use four TS credits on room service.

I do not think in-room dining on the plan starts until 07. I could be wrong, but at last look it's only listed for the dining plan in 2007. It wont begin till Jan 1st if this is the case. :bride: :groom:

It's not on the plan until January 1, so no one will be able to use it until then.

But when it does start next year there shouldn't be any issue ordering 1 meal and then splitting it.

Are you sure it can't be used until 2007? On Allears.net I thought it could be used beginning in August 2006.

Can anyone out there confirm this?

I thought it was new to the DDP in 2007 but allears states "as of 8/06". This just may mean that there is an addition on 8/06 because this would mean changing the currect plan which doesn't make sense. Just to be safe you should call disney dining and ask a CM. Also, you can share a meal in your room easier then in a restaurant so I think sharing is okay.
[font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]As of 8/06, the Disney Dining Plan can be used for In-Room Private Dining. TWO table service credits will be deducted from your Dining Plan for a meal. A meal will include the following items:

--Juice (at breakfast)
--Appetizer (at lunch and dinner)
--Entree
--Dessert (at lunch and dinner)
--Non-alcoholic beverage

This is for single serving portions only, and does not include hospitality platters, amenities, or merchandise.

I was told by a CM when I was calling to make ADR's that room service was included at all deluxe resorts. Maybe they were wrong, though.
