Cafe D' Antonio and Celebration Town Tavrn were the 2 restaurants I have been considering. Can you give any more info on the atmosphere, prices, menus at these places, please? We are also considering looking around Celebration a bit and then heading to Boma(an old favorite). What do you think? It will also be my 50th birthday.
We usually go to Celebration once every trip (so we're there three times a year), usually for lunch rather than dinner. We've been to Cafe D'Antonio, Celebration Town Tavern, and the Market Street Cafe. The Town Tavern and Market Street Cafe are next door to each other and Cafe D'Antonio is across the street from Market Street Cafe, so it's easy to check out all three in just a few minutes.
Cafe D'Antonio is Italian (perhaps obviously). Good flatbreads and the regular Italian fare. We've been there at least three times, quite good each time.
Celebration Town Tavern has classic New England seafood, steaks, and an extensive sandwich menu. We particularly enjoy the fish and chips and I've also enjoyed an excellent reuben sandwich. It's become one of our favorite lunchtime stops.
The Market Street Cafe is a 50s style diner serving American classics (meat loaf, turkey, deli sandwiches). Okay food and service, although we prefer the Town Tavern.
Although we don't eat outside at any of these places, all three offer this option. The outdoor dining area at D'Antonio is pretty small, but both the Town Tavern and Market Street Cafe have large outdoor areas.
