Hello: I know the weather is up and down in february, but anyone who has been the last week and first week of march how has it been weatherwise and crowd wise for you?

Thanks,

Deb.

While there's no way of telling how the weather at that time might be for you, we went the first week of March a few years ago, and the temps hovered around the mid-60s most of the week. The sky was overcast a lot, but bright and sunny the rest of the time (sure seemed warmer when it was). We did experience some light drizzle, but I don't recall any real showers.

The last few days of Feb. to March 10 has been 'Our Week' in 8 of the last 10 years. It's reasonable to expect mid 70s for a daily high, we usually get some days that top 80. In 60 plus park days over the years we've had one day of solid rain and half of another, on separate trips, otherwise, sunny weather prevailed. March has the third lowest rainfall in Orlando.

I'd call the crowds 'Moderate'. Get to your park du jour for rope drop, use FastPass and you'll get your fill of major attractions before standby linse get crazy long. ESPN Weekend is Feb. 29 through that weekend at MGM, but the rides there will actually be less crowded as a result. non-ESPN folks are scared away by the fear of crowds, so in my experience, Fri. 2/29 will be a good day to hit there.

I'm guessing that that was 2005. We had to switch to Jan 1 - 10 that year because our daughter was due to deliver in early March, and I noticed that 'our week' was the coolest and worst weather for that time frame, while early Jan had highs over 80 half of our days. I'll be sure to bring the good weather with me next month.

1) These are the two weeks that we take the entire extended family to WDW.
2) Usually
. . . the weather is good, with a day or two of rain
. . . medium crowd level
