Anybody stayed in a golden forest room yet??

Hi! I know the golden forest rooms have been up and running a little while now and I was wondering if any DISers have stayed in one? Haven't checked trip advisor as I think some people on there can be too fussy and I haven't gone wrong trusting DIS so far!!

We paid for the Golden Forest upgrade in May and were very disappointed, mostly down to the supposedly 'exclusive' breakfast being extremely crowded with people who didn't pay for the upgrade but were given tickets for GF breakfast. We were also disappointed with the 'lounge' as, in our opinion, it's simply a breakfast room.

If you do a search for my other posts or just for Golden Forest you will find the photos I took of the lounge.

I also posted a report on TripAdvisor but I'm probably one of those you think is too "fussy". I prefer to believe that I give my honest opinion.

Thank you for your help, I'll go and have a look at your pics now.

That was my main worry, paying over the odds for something that didn't feel worth it. Especially if others are getting it for free!

I'm sure your report on trip advisor is honest, I did say in my post that some can be too fussy in my opinion but like I said I haven't even been on there.
