Anybody stayed at Foxwoods Resort?

Does anyone know anyhting about the resorts at Foxwoods? We are having a cousins get together there. None of us are gamblers... We are going because it is equal driving distance for all of us. Our requirements werepretty basic... Nice pool/spa area. nice dining, frozen drinks by the pool. I am intererested in Any info on The Great Cedar Lodge and the Grand Pequot Tower. Any advice?

I have stayed here, but in the less expensive of the two about 3 times. I think the Cedar Lodge. I remember going down to the pool and it was really tiny actually.

You have a very wide selection of dining here. Tons of shops too. We love the Festival buffet ourselves.

It's a beautiful resort, you'll be happy here. Also, Mohegan Sun is just 7 miles away with a ton more dining and shopping and a brand new hotel. Check out the entertainment schedule too, there's always a great singer or band in the open lounge.

I prefer Mohegan now personally, but you'll be pleased with either resort I'm sure if you haven't been to both to compare.

Thanks for the info. It looks like Foxwoods it will have to be as there are alot wider ranges in room rates available. Mohegan statred at $375 no discounts where as Foxwoods starts at 180/ Thanks for the help.

I have stayed at Grand Pequot Tower and really enjoyed it. They have the best really deep tubs perfect for bubble baths. When I win the lottery, I am getting one of those tubs . I have really only eaten at the buffet and food court but I was happy with both. They also have those cool motion simulator rides at Foxwoods for the adventurous people in your group. I would check what performers will be there the night you are looking to go. It would be fun to see a show together. There is also another thread I replied to today on Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
