I think I remember someone writing a post a while ago about selling items on ebay. I was wondering if it is worth it or not? I have a bunch of brand new COACH bags that are sitting in my closet - I am not using them (and I mean BRAND NEW) so instead of them going to waste by me I fugured I'd let someone else have them. Thanks. :p

I have found that EBAY is wonderful for keeping my closets and cupboards cleaned out. I don't make a ton of money, but I avoid having to have a garage sell, which I despise doing. :)

High end products such as COACH usually sell. But you need to keep a sense of perspective in mind when you decide whether or not it is worthwhile. You most likely will not get as much as you paid for the items and you will have to spend a good amount of time taking pictures, listing the items, and running to the post office.

Also, if I were you I would start with a couple of smaller $$ items and maybe purchase a few items to build up a good feedback rating before listing the bags. I personally wouldn't bid on anything over $10 from a seller with 0 feedback.... it would just be too risky. You probably will also need to set up a Paypal account if you don't already have one. Most buyers hate messing around with money orders.

Check out the "Ebay your way to Disney" thread on the budget board. It is very long now, but has a lot of great info!

Handbags sell well on ebay- go for it! It is worth it. There's a small monthy fee for sellers, and you can set up an account in minutes. Good luck!
