I have bought tickets for my wife and daughter in law to see Grease in London, as we stay over on Bank holiday Monday, before catching the 7am Eurostar on Tuesday 25th. i was wondering if anyone had seen the show, and what it is like. I thought it would be a great start to the holiday for my DIL, as it is her first Disney experience, and I want to make it as special as possible for her and my grandkids. i have also booked us all onto the London eye on the Friday, when we return to London, before setting off back to Sheffield.

My DIL phones me every day to count down the days, and I think she may well explode before next weekend!!

Havent see grease with Danny and Susan from the TV show in although i hear it is menat to be really good, espically if you watched the TV show... I have seen it plenty of times before and ii is my fave west end show so you DIL should love it!!!! and what a lovley start to DLP  Have fun :thumbsup2

Haven't senn Grease but my friend did and she said it was fab!!! What a great start to your holiday!

The London Eye is great too! We've been on the Eye far too many times, we always go on the Eye when we have visitors (usually relatives). I hope the weather is good when you're in London as the view from the Eye is fantastic!:hippie:

Enjoy!

Haven't seen Grease although we did mean to go when it was at DLRP Christmas 2005. I've heard it's very good. Hope your DW and DDIL enjoy it.

We've been on the London Eye twice and love it ~ it's a fabulous experience. :goodvibes

While I haven't seen the current show, I have seen it in London previously, and I've seen the tour version twice! It's fantastic, one of the my favourite shows, but then the film itself is also my all time favourite film too!

I believe that Grease was originally designed as a stage show anyway.

I have seen the current Grease show in London and really enjoyed it. It is a really fun, high energy show. Susan and Danny were very good, as was the rest of the cast. After the show we waited outside and the cast were happy to sign autographs and pose for pictures as well (plus a few went to the pub next door and we joined them for a quick drink!!) They were all very friendly.
