Anybody record tv shows on their computer??

Supposedly this can be done. I have a Sony Vaio computer and I think it can do this. I just am not sure how.
Also, there is a website called TitanTV that tells about this and there may be others. If you have ever done this, tell me how!

Yes, my computer has the capability of recording tv shows. Also, "ausing" which is cool. Also, have a tv guide directory which updates daily.

I have a new computer that dh just built for me with all these new dodads and I am just learning how to make use of the all the features. DH bought the tv card online. I can ask him where and what brand of card if you like. p.m. me

I can be done with an internal card or external hardware both are called video capture.

I have one, though I've never actually used it.

I have downloaded some WWII Donald Duck cartoons that have since been banned.
