Anybody recently booked BBB at 180 days?

Awhile back I had read about people having difficulty booking BBB at MK even though they were on the phone at exactly 7:00 EST at 180 days. We are going in May and staying onsite so my 180 days opens in early November.

Just wondering if the earlier issues were due to a free dining period or a holiday. I don't remember exactly when it was posted. We are trying to get BBB on the same day as CRT but it becomes a puzzle since CRT will need to be booked an hour earlier online. So I'm hoping to hear that there hasn't been difficulty recently for the people now booking BBB for March.

I had no issues getting what ever date I wanted when I booked in July at our 180 day mark. I think you will be fine.

A month or two ago I called st my 180 day mark and they said they hadn't opened the reservation yet and to call back tomorrow. So I called back the next day and then they were booked through 180+ 6 days of my trip!

Morale of story: they obviously do open at 180 days. And if one cast member says they don't, call back and talk to someone else!

Ugh that is my fear. It's really hard to stomach the amount of misinformation that comes from the phone CMs. I have had to call back numerous times when something just didn't sound right (thanks to my knowledge from DIS!)

When I booked for our upcoming November trip (during free dining), at 180 days at 7 a.m., there was only one slot at a not great time during the length of our trip. More recently, I booked for a January trip and I had my pick of days and times. I would definitely call as soon as you can, but you should be able to get something that lines up fairly well with CRT if you aren't going during a really busy week. Good luck!

When I booked at 180+ for an 8 day trip I could only get one time slot on the 6th day at 5:00 p.m. Now, this is Thanksgiving week so I'm sure it will be much better for you. The past 2 years we've gone the first week of November and I've booked around the 4th day of our trip and didn't have any problems with a prepark opening time.

I feel like you should be fine 180 days out. We booked BBB 50 days out and had no issues. If you're fairly flexible on time of day you should be fine. You can do bbb earlier in the day and CRT later. Not sure why you have a time constraint on what time CRT is

We recently booked it for our Feb/March trip and didn't have any issues. We also have a trip this December and no issues there either. You should be ok.

Not exactly a time constraint but it's our preference to have an early appointment at BBB and the latest breakfast reservation at CRT. This will save a bit on the cost of the meal over lunch or dinner. And with 10 people...

I got a castle BBB at 60-some days after changing my mind about taking my daughter this trip. It was just days prior to our FP+ day. Was shocked to get a 9:10am on the only morning that made sense. The CM said it was the last one for that particular morning before lunch. Sounded like there was availability at other times.

And I wish it showed up in MDE just to ease my worry of showing up and not having the appointment actually booked; even though I have the reservation # written down.
