Anybody know? Also, any reccomendations for what's extra yummy for breakfast?

If you get there too early, you can watch the "bun rise" through the window and work up an appetite.

The bakery opens around 8 AM it is good and fresh. Enjoy:bounce: :p

The Bakery has always opened at 7:00 a.m. when we've stayed at the BWV. The breakfast burrito (ham, egg and cheese) is delicious but served extremely hot so don't expect to eat it quickly. For lunch, they have a couple of good (and huge!) cold sandwiches.

DH says 7:00am (he's the early riser in the family). They have nice coffee...but our favorite thing (not necessarily for breakfast) is the vanilla donut rings. They are extraordinary, but best eaten while they're fresh...we've taken them back to the room and refridgerated them and they weren't as good.

On arrival day on our last visit we got there about 10 am. We had eaten a small breakfast before leaving that morning but it was a loooong time ago and we were feeling rather peckish by 10 am. DH and I both got our refillable mugs :) and I got a crusty roll with butter. It hit the spot!

We love the cinn. yummies!

The Boardwalk Bugle (newsletter that we received when we checked in last February) says that the hours for the Boardwalk Bakery are 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. It also says that the hours are subject to change seasonally

Also from the Boardwalk Bugle :

The BoardWalk Bakery's open kitchen allows you to see our expert bakers in action, where every morning you can witness the most spectacular "Bun-rise" you'll ever see. Try our specially-made, fresh-baked goods, including muffins, rolls, sandwiches, cakes and breads. Our cappuccinos and expressos make a perfect compliment to any of our delicious delicacies.

Another vote for the Cinnamon Yummy :bounce:

. . . so good I am going to trek over to BW Bakery at least once (trying for twice) from ASMu in December to get another one. My husband also enjoyed his chocolate croissant - the best he'd had while we were at WDW in the first week of October.

DH is addicted to the Chocolate Crumb (cake?) there. It is a small loaf that I thought looked 'dry', but when I finally tried it it was nice and moist. I wonder why DH didn't mention how moist they are earlier. ;)

We own DVC at BWV and I'm the designated breakfast runner so I know the place fairly well - and can't wait to get re-aquainted beginning Sunday - yaaay! The Cinnamon Yummy is very good - but also very huge - if you're not extremely hungry early in the morning you may want to share. Bagels have always been excellent and very fresh. Kids usually go for the donuts or danish. Quite often there is a line at the door but it usually moves quickly.
