Anybody know the "real" gospel on POFQ?

We had ressies for POFQ this Sept., but got upgraded to WL due to the rehab closing. We are really looking forward to staying at WL, and are by no means complaining about the upgrade, but we spent a lot of time debating the resort choices when planning this trip. We picked POFQ due to size, first bus stop, boat to DTD, etc. After reading on these boards about the sign being removed, I wonder if it will ever reopen in it's former format, or does Disney have something new planned. Anybody have any "inside" scoop?

We might still want to try POFQ some time in the future.

We stayed there this past April12-20 and I fell in love with this
resort. I Love it! Does anyone know?

Don't know the answer but you can bet when we are at POR we will be trying to find out. We love Dixie Landings and were upset when they took the name of Port Orleans. Didn't care for PO and it would be interesting if they took the PO name and there is no more POFQ.
