Anybody know about walking distances?

Hello Everyone,

My DS(8) is running the kids' races for the half marathon in Sept.
If we can't pick up his race packet on Friday, the next available time is Saturday morning at 9am.

Is it possible to pick up the packet at the DL hotel at 9am and make it to the kids races by 10am? It's at the ESPN zone in Downtown Disney.

The only reason we might not make it on Friday is because we have some family members joining at the parks one day and didn't want to have to leave for awhile or drag them with us, so I hope there is another way.

ESPN Zone is about 100-200 yards from the Disneyland Hotel - it is about as close as you can get. It is no more than a 5 minute walk.

Really? Wow!
I looked it up on the DL website resort map and even though I know DLR is smaller it looks so far away on the map!
Guess we won't have a problem!

I don't know how it is for the kids' races, but for the half marathon they want you to be in place an hour before it starts. The on-line pre-race instructions should have that information. I would check to make sure that the packets for the kids' races are still available for pickup that morning - it's possible they might only have 1/2 marathon that day.
